| Non-profit
organizations should all be aware that they can
buy inexpensive software, hardware, and other
technology products through an online resource
called TechSoup.org.
TechSoup provides
many resources for non-profit organizations
including advice on what products are most suited
to their needs and, of course, inexpensive
versions of many computer products. Most of
the items on their site are donated directly from leading technology
providers, and are available at low administrative fees.
A good example would be Microsoft Office 2003 Professional for
approximately $20 admin fee. This program
would normally cost hundreds of dollars, but as a
non-profit you can get lots of great discounts. |
